PR Furoda was born out of a simple yet profound aspiration: to create meaningful employment opportunities amidst the dominance of major tobacco industries in Kedungkandang, Malang. Founded by Mr. Fariz in early 2024, the company began humbly—inside an empty warehouse, with only one trusted aide, an administrative staff member, and a single worker who also handled production tasks. What it lacked in resources, it made up for in determination and a commitment to social change.
The early journey was far from easy. Products struggled to find their place in the market, distribution was fragmented, and even the most dedicated efforts were met with uncertainty. Yet, what sustained PR Furoda was more than just perseverance—it was the spirit of togetherness and joy within the workplace. From the very beginning, the happiness and well-being of employees were placed above profit, with the belief that true success is measured by the improved quality of employees’ lives.
Step by step, the company navigated challenges with patience and integrity. Relying on door-to-door distribution and word-of-mouth promotion, growth was slow and often tested by uncommitted resellers. Still, PR Furoda remained steadfast, guided by honesty, trust, and the belief in building a business that brings blessings and sustainability.
Today, from its modest beginnings in a small warehouse on the outskirts of Malang, PR Furoda continues to grow as a local cigarette manufacturer rooted in honesty, family values, and social responsibility.
